The Bi-annual Gospel Convention of the North America & Europe Diocese scheduled at Dallas region was held from Oct.15-18. As per the Instruction from the Diocesan Episcopa, the joint committee of the office-bearers, Assembly and Mandalam members of the four parishes convened and made the arrangements

As decided, the opening session scheduled at the St Paul’s Church at Mesquite on 15 Thursday 7 pm and was attended by people from all parishes.  On the 16th at Carrollton church nearly two hundred people attended the meeting. On 17th at Farmer’s Branch Church there were about two-fifty. On 18th Sunday for the concluding session, all the Achens and more than 500 people gathered at the Sehion Church, including a few members from Lubbock and Oklahoma parishes.   

The Very Rev Abraham Samuel as the preacher delivered inspiring messages from the Word of God based on the Book of Genesis and celebrated the Holy Communion in the joint service on Sunday. The concluding session was arranged immediately after the H. Communion in which  Achen delivered his final message based on Mark 5:21. Rev. Johnson George proposed the vote of thanks to The Rt. Rev. Dr. Gee Varghese Mar Theodosius Thirumeni, Rev. Vinoy Daniel, the Achens, Rev's: PV Thomas, Mathew Joseph, George Varghese, A P Noble, Minoy N. Kuruvilla, and Jayson Thomas, the office bearers and the parish members for their co-operation and attendance. 

The meetings on all days started at 7pm. The respective Vicars of the parishes proposed welcome and the Choirs of the hosting parishes led the singing sessions. On the final day, there was  a joint choir.
