The Trinity Mar Thoma Church Edmonton, Alberta Canada, was honored with the visit by our blessed Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius, Diocesan Episcopa. The visit of Mar Theodosius was truly a blessed and inspiring, filled with love and fellowship.

Thirumeni arrived in Edmonton on the evening of Saturday May 29, 2010.  During Thirumeni’s visit, Thirumeni met with the 2011 National Family Conference Committee.  Thirumeni provided inspiration, guidance and leadership to the Conference Committee.

On Sunday May 30, Thirumeni conducted Holy Qurbana in English at 8:30 AM. Thirumeni delivered a deep, profound and inspiring message themed “Holy Trinity”.  During the visit, Thirumeni led the dedication service of First Communicants in which 2 young adults participated and obtained full communicant membership in the Church.  Thirumeni, again, delivered an inspiring message, reminding these young members of the parish of the meaning, the importance and depth of the Holy Qurbana.  Thirumeni encouraged the youth to be budding leaders in the Church. 

The Trinity Mar Thoma Church, Edmonton is honored and felt truly blessed to be visited by His Lordship.  Thirumeni’s inspiring words, loving and powerful prayers, and riveting sermons will resonate in our hearts. 

We, the Trinity Mar Thoma Church Edmonton thank His Grace Mar Theodosius for visiting us and spending time with us. Though the visit was short Thirumeni’s presence was inspiring to all.  We are also thankful for our Achen Rev. Reji John, for his continued leadership and guidance in the parish.
