
The Mar Thoma Parish in Vancouver on the west coast of Canada had the second visit of Mar Theodosius on the third Sunday of June 20, 2010.
The Diocesan Bishop came to Seattle from New York on Friday evening and went to Vancouver by road. Mr. and Mrs. Thampi Rajan, members of the Parish committee, gave the ride from Seattle.

Rev K J Mathew came from Calgary. There was a prayer-meeting on Saturday and some house-visits including those who are not keeping well. The stay was at the house of Joy and Grace (George Josephs), Surrey.

On Sunday there was the Holy Qurbana service in Malayalam. There were two first communicants. The sermon and the dedication service were in English.

About 70 people took part in the Holy Communion and the whole gathering shared the Fellowship meal.

Mrs. Annamma, a mother of 95 years was hospitalized after a stroke and the medical authorities alerted the dear ones of worse eventualities. So the service of Anointing the Sick was conducted in the hospital. She used to be very regular for all worship services of the Vancouver Mar Thoma Parish.

There was a committee meeting of the Parish at the residence of Manu Eapen and Iny, Surrey, on Sunday to consider the possibility of buying a place of worship.

The parish in general expressed the desire to go for it and empowered the committee to come up with a specific proposal. A warehouse built in 2008 measuring 2032 Sq ft in the city of Surrey is under serious consideration.
Mar Theodosius left on Monday to visit Victoria. He will return to Sinai, NY after visiting the Mar Thoma Parishes in Seattle and Portland.
