Trusting in God, who blesses the years with his grace, we bid goodbye to the first decade of the 21st century and we enter the next decade. Though we accomplished major milestones in the areas of science and technology, in the social sphere there were painful experiences. Some of them were man made and others were natural calamities. Terrorism, ever increasing Maoist and Naxal attacks, natural calamities like the earth quake, tsunami, devastated us. Above all these, we were frightened by the world economic crisis. These events undermined our achievements.

By God’s grace, we were able to hold the Church Assembly (Sabha Prathinidimandalam) Election, the General Body of the Sunday School and the Yuvajana Sakhyam. The creative cooperation of clergy and lay people during these meetings is well appreciated. The decision of the Church Assembly has been communicated to the parishes in a timely manner.

The month of June arrived with plenty of hearty experiences that really added flavor and novelty in human life. Thousands of children in Kerala start their school life in this month. The little children walk the steps of the school along with their parents, happily carrying with them many a dream. They are welcomed wholeheartedly by the teachers and the school authorities. Let us pray for these little ones. Best wishes to every child!
