On Sunday, September 4, 2011, a wildfireengulfed Bastrop, Texas, and by September 30th,it had destroyed 1,645 homes, burned 34,068 acres, and killed two people. Bastrop is about 30 miles east of Austin, TX. This tragedy created a need for a massiveeffort to clean upthe debris from the fire so that reconstruction and healing can begin.

Mexico Mission
The Diocesan Episcopa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theodosius visited Mexico Mission field on October 21st, 2011. Thirumeni was accompanied by Diocesan Secretary Rev. K.E Geevarghese, Treasurer Chacko Mathew, Council member Arlene Mathew and Mexico Mission Sub Committee members Rev. Zachariah John, Rev. A. T. Thomas, John Thomas and P. T. Abraham. Our Bishop and team members spent time praying and singing songs with the 34 families living at Colonia Mar Thoma.

India Mission Trip -- 2009
The 2009 India Mission Trip conducted as per the decision of the Diocesan Council of North America and Europe, was a great blessing and wonderful experience for the participants involved. The Tour commenced on Oct 5th 2009 and was completed by Oct 18th 2009. There were a total of 6 participants (2 youths and 4 adults), .Throughout the tour, we strongly experienced God’s providence and grace.
