New York: Fall One Day Conference of the North East Region Youth Fellowship was conducted on November 27, 2011. The theme for this conference was “Know thy self” with the supporting verse taken from Luke 2: 52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and infavor with God and man.”

New York: The Northeast Regional Youth Fellowship of the Mar Thoma Churchhosted the 3rd AnnualYoungWomen's Conferenceon Saturday, January 14th from 8:30am to 3:00pm at Long Island Mar Thoma Church, Merrick, NY. It was an opportunity for many women in the region to come and discuss the contemporary faith-related issues in a safe and open environment. The day started with worship followed by Bible study by Mrs. Ruby Mathai Kochamma of Salem Mar Thoma Church, NY.

In the spirit of giving during 2011 Christmas season and the exhortation in the scripture Isaiah 58:7, “Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless…” Youth Fellowship members of the Staten Island MTC volunteered and were involved with the activities of Project Help.

New York: The Northeast Regional Youth Fellowship conducted its annual Christmas Choir Festival on December 31^st, 2011. St. Andrew's Mar Thoma Church Youth Fellowship, Yonkers, NY hosted this event for the region. Every participant Youth fellowship choir sang carols including a mandatory song “What Child is this”.

North East Region Youth Fellowship conducted its annual College Seminar for the students starting and preparing to make transition to their College life. As a new academic year is fast approaching, it is important for the faith community to provide help and guidance to our young people who are embarking their higher education journey. The seminar was conducted on July 31, 2011 at St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church, Yonkers, NY. Seminar focused on various aspects of college life experiences.
